THE NEED FOR GRACE

"The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen."

— PHILIPPIANS 4:23

Grace is not just a religious word; it is something every believer needs every day. Grace is God’s unearned favor toward us. Through His grace, we receive salvation, strength, and the power to live a godly life. Without God’s grace, we cannot truly live the Christian life.

Grace is Essential for Salvation:
Salvation is a gift from God. It is not something we earn by good works or human effort. God freely gives salvation through His grace to everyone who believes in Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 2:8–9 – “For by grace are ye saved through faith…”
Titus 2:11 – “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men.”

Grace Sustains and Strengthens Us:
God’s grace helps us especially in times of weakness, challenges, and difficulties. When we feel weak, God’s grace gives us strength to continue. 2 Corinthians 12:9 – “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”

Grace Teaches and Transforms Us:
Grace does not encourage sin. Instead, it teaches us to live a righteous and godly life. Through grace, we receive the power to overcome sin and grow spiritually. Romans 6:14 – “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.”

When we depend on God’s grace, we experience true freedom, spiritual growth, and the strength to obey Him daily.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of Your grace in my life. Help me to depend on Your grace every day. Let my life reflect Your love, favor, and power in all I do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
