JESUS IS RISEN
"He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay."
— MATTHEW 28:6
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is not just a moment in history, it is the heart of our faith and the foundation of your victory and new life. It simply means Jesus is alive, and everything He promised is true.
When the angel spoke at the tomb, every word carried eternal power:
“He is not here” → The grave could not hold Him. The force of darkness tried to silence Him, but the tomb became proof that no power can imprison the life He carries. And as believers, we have no business seeking Him in the grave. We don’t look for Jesus in dead places, empty religion, or past experiences—He is alive, and we walk with Him daily.
“He is risen” → Death has been defeated forever. The worst thing that could happen—death itself—has lost its power. So whatever you are facing today is not final. Life can return to every dead situation.
“As He said” → God’s Word never fails. Everything Jesus declared came to pass. The resurrection is the ultimate confirmation that God is faithful. In the same way, every promise God has spoken over your life will come to pass.
Because He rose, everything has changed for you:
Death has lost its power (1 Corinthians 15:55), Your justification is complete (Romans 4:25), Your victory is secured (1 Corinthians 15:57), Your new life has begun (2 Corinthians 5:17)
You are not trying to become victorious—you already are in Christ, and you are walking in the newness of life.

Confession
