BE FRUITFUL

"Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth…"

— GENESIS 1:28

From the very beginning, God’s desire for man was fruitfulness. This command was not limited to physical increase alone, but extends to every area of life, spiritually, mentally, and in purpose. As a believer, you are called to produce results that reflect God’s nature and glory.
Fruitfulness begins with staying connected to God. Jesus said, “I am the vine, ye are the branches… he that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit” – John 15:5. Without Him, true and lasting fruit is impossible. Your intimacy with God determines your productivity in life.

Spiritual fruit is the first evidence of a fruitful life. “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith…” – Galatians 5:22–23. When these qualities are evident in you, your life becomes a testimony that draws others to Christ.

Fruitfulness also means impact. God expects your life to influence others positively. “Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit…” – John 15:8. Barrenness is not your portion. God has given you everything you need to be fruitful. “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness…” – 2 Peter 1:3. Walk in this truth and refuse anything that limits your growth and productivity.

By redemption, we have the heritage of fruitfulness. “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law…” – Galatians 3:13. Every curse of unfruitfulness is broken over your life. Therefore, arise, live fully, and be fruitful in all that you do, in Jesus’ Name.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for calling me to a life of fruitfulness. Help me to remain in You daily so that I can bear good and lasting fruit. I declare that I am fruitful in every area of my life, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
