YOUR GREATEST ADVANTAGE
"Christ in you, the hope of glory."
— Colossians 1:27
Many people measure advantage by what they have on the outside—education, wealth, connections, background, or favorable circumstances. Yet Scripture reveals a far greater truth for the you and I: our greatest advantage is who lives on the inside of us. “Christ in you, the hope of glory” is not poetic language; it is spiritual reality.
When you received Christ, you did not merely adopt a new belief system—you received divine life. “He that hath the Son hath life” (1 John 5:12). This life is not subject to the limitations of the natural world. It carries resurrection power, victory over sin, and strength in weakness. That means your life is no longer defined by your past, your environment, or your human capacity.
Beyond divine life, the believer carries divine presence. God is not distant or unavailable. “Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost?” (1 Corinthians 6:19). Wherever you go, God goes. In trials, His presence brings peace; in confusion, His presence brings clarity; in adversity, His presence brings assurance. You are never alone.
Flowing from divine life and presence is divine authority. Scripture says, “Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4). Your authority is not rooted in status or position but in Christ Himself. As He is, so are you in this world (1 John 4:17). Christ in you remains constant—the unshakable hope of glory.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your life, and Your abiding presence at work within me. Help me to live and walk daily in the consciousness of this reality, manifesting Your glory in every situation. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
