RENEWED STRENGTH
"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
— ISAIAH 40:31
One of the greatest blessings of waiting on God and dwelling in His presence is the renewal of strength. No one who genuinely seeks after God ever runs out of strength.
• You mount up with wings like eagles and fly — this means it is possible to soar and thrive even in the midst of challenges. Just like the eagle that rises above the storm, you are empowered to rise above pressures and limitations.
• You run and do not grow weary — this signifies that God supplies supernatural strength to keep moving forward without faltering. He ensures victory and sustained momentum, just like horses that charge ahead with unwavering endurance. As Joel 2:4 says, “The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.”
• You walk and do not faint — this means that where others may fail, slow down, or give up, you are empowered to keep going. Your strength is continually renewed. As Isaiah 40:29 reminds us, “He gives power to the faint; and to them that have no might, He increases strength.”
True strength is generated in Zion. As we consistently dwell in God’s presence, we grow stronger and stronger. This is why Psalm 84:7 declares, “They go from strength to strength; every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.”

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your strength at work in my life. I receive the grace to dwell consistently in Your presence. May I never grow weary in waiting on You, and may my strength be renewed daily. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
