GOD IS WITH YOU, II
"I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me."
— PSALMS 3:5
Beloved, I want to challenge you today to always live with the consciousness that God is with you.
This was David's greatest asset, and we must cultivate the same unwavering awareness—that the God who is with us, working in us and through us, is greater than anything and anyone out there in the world. This mindset positions us for victory.
1 John 4:4 – “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.”
Elisha was another man who understood that having God with him made him the majority. Even in the face of war, when the Syrian army approached, he remained at peace, tension and pressure free, and he prayed that God would open his servant’s eyes.
2 Kings 6:16-17 – “And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha."
As soon as the young man saw the heavenly army surrounding them, his fear, anxiety, and tension disappeared.
No matter the storm, your boat cannot capsize with Jesus in it. Stay assured—see you on the other side with your testimony!
