TRANSLATED TO LIGHT
"Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son"
— COLOSSIANS 1:13
The coming of Jesus Christ into the world marked a profound turning point in the history of humanity, a moment of total liberation for you and me. Before His arrival, the power of darkness held humanity captive, binding us with chains of sickness, failure, poverty, and fear. Darkness didn’t just attack people; it began to shape how they lived and how they saw themselves.
However, the story did not end there. When Jesus Christ came, He first broke the chains of darkness that had yoked our lives; and He also translated you and I into His glorious kingdom of light, a place where the power of darkness has no authority over us. “God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.” — 1 John 1:5.
In this kingdom of light, your life is transformed. This light adds beauty, honor, and splendor to your existence. It decorates your life, giving it purpose and dignity. Jesus Christ lifted you out of those places of despair and gave you a new identity. “Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:5.
Now, as Ephesians 2:19 declares, "Ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God." Hallelujah! Because of this divine translation into light, nothing in your life is traceable to the enemy anymore. Every part of your being is now a reflection of God's glory and grace.
