JOY IS COMING

"For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."

— PSALM 30:5

Life has seasons. No matter the lowest season you may be, David in Psalm 30:5 reminds us that no painful season lasts forever. God’s anger is brief, but His favor is full of life. What we feel today is not the final word over our lives.
The Bible does not deny the reality of weeping. It says weeping may endure for a night. Night represents seasons of loss, delay, sickness, confusion, disappointment, or all sorts of negativity and unpleasantness. In the night, things feel heavy, and uncertain. But away remember night is not permanent. Morning always follows.
Joy does not come because everything suddenly becomes perfect. Joy comes because God is faithful. Even when circumstances do not change immediately, God’s presence brings strength, peace, and reassurance.
His favor restores what pain tried to steal. What you cried about last night will not define your tomorrow. Sometimes the night feels longer than expected, but God is never late. He is working even when you cannot see it. Every tear is noticed. Every prayer is heard. When the morning comes, it brings clarity, healing, renewed strength, and fresh hope.
Hold on. Do not give up in the dark. Trust the God who controls time and seasons. He has already prepared the morning. And with the morning comes joy.

Prayer

Heavenly father, thank You that my season of weeping and pain is temporary. I trust You for the morning You have prepared. Let Your favor speak louder than my pain. I receive Your joy in full, in Jesus Name, Amen.
