YOUR TOTAL WELL-BEING IS GOD’S WILL
"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers"
— 3 JOHN 1:2, NKJV.
God cares about every part of your life. He does not only want you to be spiritually saved; He also desires your complete well-being—your spirit, your soul, and your body. This verse shows us that as our inner life grows strong in God, other areas of our lives are meant to improve as well.
From the beginning, God created people to live whole and healthy lives. Sin damaged that wholeness, but through Jesus, God is restoring us. Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” (John 10:10, NKJV). This abundant life is not just about heaven someday; it also includes peace, joy, and purpose in our daily lives now.
The Bible shows again and again that God cares about every part of us. David said, “Bless the Lord…who heals all your diseases” (Psalm 103:2–3, NKJV). Paul also prayed that believers would be kept strong in every way: “May your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless” (1 Thessalonians 5:23, NKJV). When we take care of our souls by praying, obeying God, and filling our minds with His Word, our lives begin to reflect His peace. The Bible says, “A merry heart does good, like medicine” (Proverbs 17:22, NKJV).
Remember this powerful truth: God cares about you completely. Your health, peace, and daily needs matter to Him. Your total well-being is truly God’s will.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for desiring my total well-being—spirit, soul, and body. I receive Your peace and walk in good health as my soul grows strong in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
