HIS PROMISES ARE FOR EVERMORE

"The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore."

— PSALM 121:8 (KJV)

God’s promises are not temporary assurances, they are eternal guarantees. When the Lord speaks preservation over your life, it is not limited to a moment, a season, or a circumstance. It is a continuous covenant that spans from now into forever. His word does not expire, weaken, or fail with time. “For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen…” — 2 Corinthians 1:20.

David emphasizes both “this time forth” and “for evermore” to establish the unbroken nature of divine protection. This means that every step you take is covered by God’s watchful eye, and you are never outside His care. “The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.” — Psalm 121:5.

To live in this reality, you must anchor your faith in the integrity of God’s Word. Men may fail, systems may collapse, as it seems in our nation and the world today, but God’s promises stand sure. “God is not a man, that he should lie…” — Numbers 23:19.
“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” — Matthew 24:35.

Divine preservation is not accidental, it is intentional. God is committed to keeping, guiding, and sustaining you. Your life is not left to chance; it is secured by the One who never sleeps nor slumbers, and His covering and every other promise is forever. “Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.” — Psalm 121:4.
“The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.” — Psalm 121:7.

Confession

I am preserved by the power of God. My going out and my coming in are secured. From this moment and forever, I walk under divine protection. God’s promises over my life stand firm and cannot fail.
