CONFIDENCE AT THE THRONE OF GRACE
"And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us"
— 1 JOHN 5:14 (KJV).
Confidence in prayer is not rooted in feelings, it is anchored in God’s Word and His faithfulness. The believer does not approach God as a stranger, but as a son with access. Through Christ, the veil has been torn, and the throne is no longer a place of fear, but a throne of grace. Hebrews 10:19 (KJV) “Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus.”
To pray according to His will is to align your desires with His Word. When your prayers are Word-based, they carry divine authority. Heaven responds not to empty words, but to faith-filled petitions grounded in God’s promises. When you know He hears you, your heart is settled, because divine hearing guarantees divine intervention. John 15:7 - “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.”
Boldness in prayer is not arrogance; it is spiritual understanding. It is the confidence that Christ has made a way, and that mercy and grace are available at all times. Mercy speaks where you have fallen short, and grace empowers you where you are weak. At the throne, you are not rejected, instead you are received, helped, and strengthened. 2 Corinthians 12:9 “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness…”
Do not approach God with uncertainty. Come with assurance. Come with expectation. Come knowing that your voice is heard and your answers are released. Jeremiah 33:3, Hebrews 10:22.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for access through Jesus Christ. I come boldly to Your throne of grace, Let Your mercy speak for me and Your grace strengthen me in every area of need. I walk in confidence, knowing my prayers are answered according to Your will. It is done, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
